All my creations are made out genuine stones and crystals (no fabric) using a wire wrapping technique. The result is a line of jewelry and accessories that is very distinct. My items come in a variety of colors and designs that are as unique as the stones they are made out of. My signature items are wire wrapped flowers and they are very unique in the design, technique, and type of materials used.

-I make Funky fabric rose belts. I try to use current, inspiring fabrics to pair with my bold roses.
-I make fabric head ties for babies, toddlers and adults. I try to use chic fabric and appliqué a rose or bird on the head tie.

“It is the highlight of our year when the Beehive Bazaar time comes around. We are so inspired by the fabulous artists in our area that we are usually teeming with great ideas to bring to the event. This year we are trying to stretch a little more beyond the border with paper mache and thrift store repurposing. Of course, we can’t help but add some of our brightly colored creations, such as Jeremy’s “Wonderland” clips or Zoe’s fabric birds. I make really cute handmade clothing. Each piece is individually designed and hand sewn by me. I dont make any duplicates! I love to find vintage pieces and turn them into simple, yet beautiful and bright jewelry. You’ll find earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair accessories—-mostly containing vintage pieces. I love happy colors, delicate flowers. I’m trying to push myself in the design sense to make things more unexpected. I just returned from NYC, where I purchased thousands of vintage Czech and Swarovski glass stones. I’m excited to incorporate those into my designs.

Motley HandMade will be providing Summer inspired hair wear for women, kids and babies. Headbands, clips, ponytail holders for infants on up– all inspired by nature. You will spend less time doing your hair and more time out enjoying yourself with our hair accessories.

We are two friends who love the extra boost accessories can give to an outfit. We also love the ease of throwing on a headband or clip and feeling more put together (and cute) instantly. Always on the hunt for the next best accessory in stores, we felt less than inspired by our findings. So, like any good crafty, we just made what we wanted ourselves.
