My high fire porcelain pottery emphasizes graceful lines and a sense of balance within functional pieces. I focus on teabowls with a soothing palate of sophisticated glaze colors. I also alter thrown jars into animal shapes, so far bears and owls with more creatures coming soon.

In addition to wheel thrown bowls and lidded vessels, I hand build small birds with detailed surface embellishment. These birds fit perfectly in the palm of your hand and each is carefully finished to be pleasing to touch as well as to admire.

When not playing in the mud, I crochet and embroider small decorative items.
