I make women’s clothing comprised of mainly shirts, skirts, dresses, hoodies, and tank tops. My designs are exclusive, meaning they are either one of a kind or made in very limited size runs. Each piece that I make is an original from the beginning concept, sourcing raw materials, the design, to it’s final construction. I focus on designing clothing that is fun, unique, fits great, and is comfortable to wear.

I have also been making some really cool lamps that I am bringing. I love old paper, textiles and sewing supplies and have been using them in one of a kind whimsy items. I love to use new, vintage, repurposed, and upcycled fabrics and materials.  I love to mix color and patterns in unexpected ways, I think it makes my products fun and unique.  A lot of my things are one of a kind.   I make everything myself using a vintage sewing machine that has a permanent spot in my living room.  I get inspiration from my three girls, nature, vintage finds, really just about everywhere.  Currently I make a wide variety of things  from bags, to girl’s dresses, hair accessories, dish towels, baby gifts, and altered vintage suitcases just to name a few.

“It is the highlight of our year when the Beehive Bazaar time comes around. We are so inspired by the fabulous artists in our area that we are usually teeming with great ideas to bring to the event. This year we are trying to stretch a little more beyond the border with paper mache and thrift store repurposing. Of course, we can’t help but add some of our brightly colored creations, such as Jeremy’s “Wonderland” clips or Zoe’s fabric birds. We also like to include some the eclectic ideas that are “Oh so perfect” for that special person! We hope to see you there.”

I love neutrals with pops of bold patterns and colors, and I love flowers and prints contained in panels of straight lines—organized chaos—and my pillows reflect that. Pillows are something I love to buy for my home and switch up often, so I enjoy making them for other people. It gives them a chance to have a little piece of useful art.

Turn it upside down. Stretch it. Shrink it. Make it two-dimensional. Make it move. Make it fly. Fold it. Use a different texture. Rearrange the elements. Make it look futuristic….

With each piece I create, I try to gain ideas and ask myself how I am going to follow thru and make the finished piece the most unique and interesting that it can be.

Inspired by everything from bauhaus graphic design, The Beatles, to Wes Anderson films.
I mainly screen print t-shirts, fabric, wood and paper. I also make backpacks and other bags using my own patterns and design.
