So hurry, hurry, hurry, step right up and get your ticket for the imagination contortionist and all of her wonderful oddities. Easily Amused gifts are intended for the frequently exuberant, the blatantly giddy, the often nostalgic and, of course, the easily amused. Beautiful Things

Published by Molly Call on 22 Apr 2008 | No Comments

“I love beautiful things, but I am also an extremely practical person. I enjoy coming up with ways of taking a functional object such as a purse, a bar of soap or even a simple scarf and turning them into works of art without taking away from their function. That’s why I refer to my work as Functional Fiber Art. These are, for the most part, beautiful works of art, but they also are able to have a purpose. It reminds me of the human race, we also are works of art with purpose.” Vanessa Mueller

Loveland Miscellany

Published by Noelle Olpin on 09 Apr 2008 | No Comments

Loveland Miscellany showcases the combined and various works of Mike and Alma
Loveland. Married less than a year, the two are mixing the styles and media that they had
mastered on their own in a variety of projects, including watercolor and acryllic paintings and
prints, mixed media paintings and prints, felt brooches and glass cuff links, and small felt
children’s toys. The couple are inspired by the things they see around them and are always
eager to try something new, which yields a surprising, if miscellaneous assortment of products.
