I make fused glass jewelry, coasters, nightlights and business card holders.  I also recycle bottles and turn them into cheese platters and bowls.  I was interested in fused glass so I took a class, I liked it so much I bought a kiln.  Since then I have been experimenting with my kiln and making new projects.

In the past i’ve made jewelry out of my paintings, letter-pressed cards and gift tags, children’s books, and broadsides and prints of my paintings. I plan on continuing to make those things, but this year I am also working on puppets, new paintings and some printed books. Visit me here…

I have gathered recipes from family and friends and compiled them into a published cookbook. I have sold approx. 5000 copies at Secret Haven in Fruit Heights where I work part time as well as home parties. Vol. 1 was so successful that I now have a second volume. Last year I was a guest on Good Morning Utah where I was able to share and cook a recipe.

I make functional fiber art. Beautiful handpun yarns, knit and crochet items such as scarves, hats, handbags, wraps and shawls as well as bath items such as felted soaps and cotton bath puffs. I love beautiful things, but I am also an extremely practical person. I enjoy coming up with ways of taking functional objects and turning them into works of art. That’s why I refer to my work as Functional Fiber Art. These are, for the most part, beautiful works of art, but they also are able to have a purpose. It reminds me of the human race, we also are works of art with purpose. Visit her here…
