Here we are, (l to r: Stephanie, Colett, Molly, and Noelle) just after the clean up Saturday night. Happy with thai food in our bellies, but very tired.
The Beehive Bazaar was a great success! We love our new location!
Thank you so much to Gallery One Ten, and Art Access of Utah for sponsoring us, and opening your wonderful gallery for our use. We couldn’t have done it without you!
We would also like to thank our vendors, without all of you and all your hard work, we would just be a few ladies craftin’ in the basement.

We are very excited to have our very clever friend Hailey Liechty makin’ something for the show. Here’s a little preview of some of the little felt books she has been making. They are a must for any handy gals- or your mother (hint) who just might need a safe place to store her pins and needles while on the go.
I have one of these little babies and I can’t tell you how much easier it is to tote around than a stinkin’ pincushion. Check out Hailey’s fabulous blog here
I heard she’ll also have some clay whimsimobilia to sell as well.

Jennifer Calderone (pictured here with her handsome helpmate Rex…guess that makes him King Bling..get it…Rex…King?) will have her latest jewelry on display and for sale at this years Bazaar. Her jewelry is exceptional and a sell-out every time, so be sure to show up early if you want to make sure you get a little su-um-su-um that’s just right for you or dear ol’ mum.

These pin-cushions from Colett Yarro are so adorable you’ll be hesitant to hide them away in your sewing closet and be placing them on the coffee table instead!
PS: Colett, we forgot, which one makes you taller and which one will make you grow smaller?

Just a sampling of Colett’s many creative talents…it’s hard to believe that she found time to craft while searching for vampires in the Portland area! Her gift tags are darling. She will also be offering paintings, rings, necklaces,(I’m sure that I’m leaving something out!)

We are very excited to have LeAnn Hillam and her groovy books back in the show after a brief hiatus of a year or so.
I love the idea of recycling pretty much everything you can, but especially books. The process goes something like this…
Find old books with interesting covers still in tact-paperbacks or hard bound, or old sewing patterns etc.
Take out the pages and replace them with blank paper, but leaving in a few old pages here and there.
Then… tadaa you have a one-of-a-kind blank book to do with whatever you like- sketch, write, doodle, paint, brainstorm, compose music, play tic-tac-toe…
Here are a few from my private collection, I’m a little partial to the pattern books of course, but “May I Cross Your Golden River?” makes me smile every time I lay eyes on it.
